“They made the whole travel vaccine process so easy. I told them where I was going, they checked my route properly, explained exactly what I needed, and got it all done before I flew. Quick, efficient and genuinely pain-free. No stress, no confusion, just clear advice and everything sorted in one visit.”
We are on Wagonway Drive in Great Park, NE13 9BH, with free parking directly outside. That is a few minutes from Gosforth, Wideopen, Brunswick Village, Hazlerigg and Dinnington.

Hepatitis A is £48 a dose, typhoid £30 and rabies from £70. Every price is published below, and every line is held in stock so most trips are covered in a single visit. Tap any vaccine to book it.
Prices are per dose unless stated. Some vaccines need more than one dose to complete a course, and we will set out the full cost before anything is given. Prescription-only medicines are supplied following a consultation with our pharmacist.
Yes, and usually faster. Travel vaccines are given by a GPhC registered pharmacist working to the same national guidance a GP practice follows, with no referral and no waiting list.

Your appointment is one to one with a GPhC registered pharmacist who goes through your actual route, dates and activities.

We keep the common travel vaccines in stock, so most trips are covered in a single visit rather than three.

A proper clinical room at the back of the pharmacy. Nothing is discussed over the counter.

We follow NaTHNaC and TravelHealthPro guidance, and we will tell you when something is available free on the NHS.
Every claim here can be checked. The GPhC register entry is public, and the guidance we follow is published by the National Travel Health Network and Centre.
A GPhC registered pharmacist, in a private consultation room, with their registration number published so you can check it on the public register before you come in.

Jagdeep is the Superintendent Pharmacist here, which means the clinical standards at Great Park are his responsibility and his registration is on the line for them. He runs the travel consultations himself, working to the same NaTHNaC and TravelHealthPro guidance a GP practice follows.
Verify GPhC 2075201Because you can book directly, be seen this week, and have everything done in one visit. Most GP practices no longer offer the full travel range, and the ones that do often book weeks out.
Book directly with us. You do not need to see your GP first, and you will not go on a waiting list.
The common travel vaccines are in our fridge, so most trips are finished in one appointment rather than three.
Flying soon? Ring us. We can usually fit you in within days, and we will be straight with you if timing is tight.
Gentle, unhurried, and used to children and needle-phobic adults. Tell us and we will take our time.
We only advise what your trip actually needs, and we will tell you when something is free on the NHS.
Travelling together? Book one appointment and we will work through everyone in the same visit.
Three steps. Book a slot, have a one to one consultation about your actual trip, and in most cases get every vaccine you need in that same visit.
Pick a slot that suits you. Tell us where you are going and roughly when, and that is all we need to get started.
We go through every country on your route, what you will actually be doing there, your dates, your medical history and anything you have had before. That is what decides your plan, not a generic list against a destination name.
Because we hold stock, most people get everything they need there and then. You leave with a written record, any tablets you need, and clear instructions for the rest of your course if there is one.
It looks like walking out with a plan, not a pile of questions. Most people arrive unsure what they need and leave the same appointment with it done.

This is a promise about our service, not about what a vaccine does. No clinic can guarantee you will not get ill abroad. What we can guarantee is how we handle your appointment.
One visit applies where the vaccines your trip needs are single dose and we hold them in stock. Some courses, including rabies and hepatitis B, need more than one appointment spread over weeks, and yellow fever certificates are only valid ten days after vaccination. We will tell you exactly what your trip requires before you book anything.
It depends on your exact route, not just the country name. These are the destinations we see most from Newcastle travellers, with the vaccines that usually come up for each.

Hepatitis A and typhoid for most trips, rabies for island hopping and rural stays.

Hepatitis A, typhoid and antimalarials for safari, plus yellow fever advice.

Hepatitis A, typhoid and rabies, which matters more here than most places.

Hepatitis A and typhoid, with Japanese encephalitis for longer rural stays.

Meningitis ACWY is compulsory, with a certificate checked at the border.

Hepatitis A, typhoid and rabies. Risk rises the further east you go.

Hepatitis A and typhoid, plus malaria cover for Kruger in season.

Hepatitis A and typhoid. Yellow fever only matters if the Amazon is on your route.
Flying in the next six weeks? Some vaccines need time to work, so book this week.
Courses like rabies and hepatitis B are spread over weeks, and a yellow fever certificate is only valid ten days after vaccination. Leaving sooner than that? Still come in, there is almost always something worth doing.
Consistently that the advice is honest and the appointment is quick. These are real Google reviews from people we have vaccinated in Great Park, Gosforth and across North Newcastle.
Booked on the Monday and was seen the same week. Talked through the whole trip, not just the jabs.
Honest advice. Told me which ones I actually needed and which I could skip. Never felt sold to.
Really good with my two, who are not fans of needles. Quick, calm and kind about it.
Everything was in stock so it was all done in one visit. No coming back three times.
Handy for Gosforth and parking right outside. Much easier than trying to get a GP appointment.
Pharmacist knew the country properly, not just reading off a list. Genuinely reassuring.
If yours is not here, ring us on 0191 447 3839. We would rather answer it on the phone than have you guess.
Great Park Pharmacy & Clinic on Wagonway Drive, NE13 9BH, is a few minutes north of Gosforth with free parking outside. We also see travellers from Wideopen, Brunswick Village, Hazlerigg, Dinnington and across North Newcastle.
Hepatitis A is £48 a dose, typhoid £30, hepatitis B £43.30 and rabies from £70 a dose. Malaria tablets start at £17.40 for four weeks. Every price is published on this page, and your travel consultation is included rather than charged separately.
No. You can book directly with us. Many GP practices no longer offer the full range of travel vaccines, and the ones that do often book several weeks ahead.
Six to eight weeks before you fly is ideal, because some courses need more than one dose and vaccines take time to work. If you are flying sooner than that, still come in. There is almost always something worth doing.
We recommend booking so we can give you a proper consultation slot, but ring us on 0191 447 3839 and we will fit you in as soon as we can. Same-week appointments are usually available.
Yellow fever certification is in progress and not yet available here. If your trip needs a yellow fever certificate, ring us and we will tell you honestly where your nearest registered centre is. Remember the certificate is only valid ten days after vaccination, so plan ahead.
Most travellers to Thailand are advised hepatitis A, with typhoid commonly added. Rabies and Japanese encephalitis come into play for rural stays, longer trips and island hopping. Your exact route decides it, which is what the consultation is for.
Yes. We see families regularly and are used to children who are not keen on needles. Some vaccines have different doses or minimum ages for children, and we will go through that with you.
Some can be given and some are avoided, depending on the vaccine and how far along you are. Tell us when you book and we will look at it properly with you before anything is given.
Usually around twenty to thirty minutes for a single traveller, longer for families or complicated multi-country trips. That covers the consultation and the vaccines themselves.
Yes. You leave with a written record of everything given, the dates, and clear instructions for any remaining doses in a course.
Yes. Malaria tablets are not a vaccine, they are prescription medication chosen to match your specific route, dates and medical history, and supplied following a consultation with our pharmacist.
We hold the common travel vaccines on site. If something is not on the shelf, we will source it for you or point you to the nearest clinic that has it rather than leaving you to chase it.
Here at Great Park, on Wagonway Drive, a few minutes from Gosforth, Wideopen and Brunswick Village. You book directly with us, see a GPhC registered pharmacist in a private room, and in most cases leave the same visit with everything your trip needs.
It is not better or worse, it is different. Many GP practices no longer offer the full range of travel vaccines and the ones that do often book several weeks ahead. We hold the common travel vaccines on site and can usually see you the same week. Where something is free on the NHS we will tell you, so you can decide.
A small number are normally available on the NHS through a GP practice, including hepatitis A, typhoid, cholera and combined diphtheria, tetanus and polio. The rest are private. We check your route first and tell you which of yours fall into each group before you pay for anything.
For most short trips to western Europe you will not need anything beyond making sure your routine UK vaccinations are up to date. Some routes and activities change that, including longer stays, rural travel and tick exposure in parts of central and eastern Europe. Tell us the route and we will tell you honestly if the answer is nothing.
Yes. Malaria prevention is assessed in the consultation against your exact route, the season you are travelling and your medical history, then supplied here where it is appropriate. Not every trip to a malaria area needs tablets, and we will say so if yours does not.
It varies a lot by vaccine. Some give protection for a few years, some for decades once the full course is finished, and a few need a booster before each trip. We write down what you have had and when it runs out, so the next trip is easier.
We are around fifteen minutes from Newcastle Airport by car, with free parking directly outside on Wagonway Drive. Most people come to us before travel day rather than on it, because several vaccines need time to work.
Yes. Families are common here and we will work through each person's route and history separately, because the answer often differs between adults and children. Tell us how many of you are travelling when you book so we can allow enough time.
Alongside the travel clinic we offer ear wax removal by microsuction, weight management, vitamin B12 injections, private flu vaccination and the full NHS Pharmacy First service.
